About Us:

Missouri Alliance of Area Agencies on Aging (MA4) maintains a website (Missouri Aging Information Network – MAIN, for short – www.moaging.com) to provide information on services available in Missouri to older persons, disabled adults and/or their caregivers. Data is collected on various services, organizations, and agencies that serve seniors, disabled adults, and/or their caregivers. That information can be searched by consumers and/or subscribers through the MAIN website. This is a public service and provided at no charge to consumers. Subscribers, who have access to more detailed information and search hierarchies, are charged for access.

Member Area Agencies on Aging collect the data on local businesses. They input the original data, and any subsequent updates/edits/deletions which may be required of that data in the most timely manner possible.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that MA4 does not own or control, or to people that MA4 does not employ or manage. In addition, certain MA4 associated companies have their own privacy statements which can be viewed by clicking on their links.

This Privacy Notice should answer questions about the sources and kinds of information collected, how it is used, and when it may be shared with others.

Privacy for Consumers:

The Missouri Alliance of Area Agencies on Aging web server collects the domain names (not the e-mail addresses) of visitors to our web site. This information is aggregated to measure number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, etc. The Missouri Alliance of Area Agencies on Aging uses this information to measure the use of our site and to improve the content of our site.

Privacy for Subscribers:

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to verify your status as a subscriber and to process your payments. This information is used to contact you when necessary. We will not share or sell subscriber information – it is for our internal use only.

Privacy for Companies listed in our Searchable Database:

We collect data on companies that would be useful to consumers in deciding whether or not your services and/or products might be of benefit to them. The MAIN database will not be used for business-to-business sales. That information is stored in our database, searchable by consumers through our website. We use standard fields of information for all companies in given categories. We do not endorse companies listed in this database. The data is presented in an unbiased manner. If you see an error in your listing, we ask you to contact us immediately cmaaa@cmaa.net with the correct information.

We remind visitors that we provide links to additional websites. There is no implied or actual endorsement of those sites. You may find them useful. These links will lead you to sites that may operate under different privacy practices. Our visitors are responsible for reviewing the privacy statements for such other websites, as we have no control over information that is submitted to these companies.

Privacy Modifications:

MA4 reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any changes here, so be sure to check back periodically. Although this Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any legal rights, it does serve as an expression of MA4's commitment to protecting private information.

Kids and Privacy:

We do not collect information from or about children.
